Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Reward for Lost Pet in Mexican Territory to £15k
Welsh athlete Ramsey has boosted the incentive for leads regarding his lost canine named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that Halo was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
Halo, who vanished on 9 October, was had on a GPS collar, and Ramsey published a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates concerning our Halo kindly contact us. Significant reward for locating her. We are all hoping she's ok and will return to our family soon," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey first announced that his dog had vanished 14 days prior and has subsequently posted multiple photos of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A $ten thousand dollar incentive was initially announced, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a seven days, the player and his loved ones increased the amount.
"We just want Halo back," he said in a further appeal on social media after the 10-year-old pet disappeared.
The latest image share is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle sleeping, her head lying in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "What I'd do to cuddle you once more sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has additionally circulated a note from his wife Colleen on social media indicating they have a few "serious concerns" about the incident and fear the family "might not obtain explanations".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. I fear we ever will," his wife's post expressed.
The Wales skipper joined Mexico's premier team Pumas UNAM earlier this year and had his first appearance in Liga MX in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born player is the pioneering well-known British Isles athlete to compete in the Liga MX.
