Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
An aircraft flying above a crowded California coastline abruptly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm groves as spectators watched.
Recordings posted on social media show the helicopter starting to spin near the shoreline then falling in the direction of the border of the beach, where it becomes wedged amidst palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters stated five persons were rushed to the hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” after the accident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the street were harmed. Specifics on their wounds were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
